Examples :
1.
We all
went with them. (karena ‘went’ merupakan kata kerja, maka
sebelumnya diperlukan subjek yaitu ‘We” dan ‘them’ digunakan setelah kata kerja
‘went’).
2. The
doll
over there are hers. (Kata Possesive Pronoun ini selalu terletak sebelum
titik.)
3. She
looks at herself in the mirror. (apabila subjek melakukan sesuatu
untuk subject atau object untuk object sendiri.)

perbandingan untuk positif adalah sebagai berikut :

Positif disini maksudnya
adalah kata setelah kata-kata yng tersebut diatas selalu tetap, tidak ada perubahan
tambahan more, -er, -est, atau most.

Comparative (Comparative Degree)
Bila pembandingnya hanya ada satu,
ditandai dengan kata Than.
-Bila
kata keadaan terdiri dari satu atau dua suku kata ditambah dengan (-er).
Contoh : This car is bigger than
that car
-Bila kata keadaan terdiri dari 2
suku kata atau lebih di tambah (more).
Contoh : Yanti is more
beautiful than Rina
c. Tingkat
Paling (Superlative Degree)
Bila pembandingnya banyak / lebih
dari satu.
-Bila kata keadaan terdiri dari
satu/dua suku kata ditambah dengan (-est)
Contoh : Ali is the cleverest
student in the class.
-Bia
kata keadaan lebih dari 2 suku kata ditambah dengan (most).
Contoh : Madonna is the most
beautiful singer in the world.
